Hi, I'm Winchester, a playful and outgoing Pit Bull X who enjoys hanging out with my people. I was rescued from a high kill shelter and I'm grateful to be given another chance at finding my forever home.

I enjoy treats and going on hikes. I need hard chew toys and lots of exercise. I don't enjoy being left by myself and will dig if left outside alone. I'm also known to dart out of doors. I've been working on not doing that by being asked to sit and stay. I've very sweet and playful and will jump for hugs. I don't always realize my size/strength so the best home for me would be adult only with no other pets. I need an active patient owner willing to continue working on my training and willing to take me on long walks, hikes and/or runs.

I've worked with a trainer and I know my basic commands (come, sit, stay, down) and I walk well on leash. I'm eager to please and want to be by my people.

I know my breed gets a bad rap so most will pass me by. If you're willing to give me a chance, please fill out an application to meet me.
