My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nova is a remarkable feline with a story that tugs at the heartstrings and a personality that warms the soul. Rescued from what could have been a dire situation, Nova's journey is a testament to resilience and the power of compassion.

Born into uncertainty, Nova's early days were fraught with challenges. Found trembling in a plastic container alongside her kittens, she faced an uncertain fate until fate intervened in the form of a caring volunteer. Startled by the unfamiliar surroundings, Nova darted away, but her reluctance to leave hinted at a deeper connection.

Thanks to the unwavering dedication of volunteers like Sue, Nova's story took a turn for the better. Fostered alongside her precious kittens, Nova's maternal instincts shone through as she nurtured her offspring with unwavering devotion. Miraculously, Nova found her way back home, guided by an instinctual longing to be reunited with her beloved litter.

With her kittens safely in the care of a rescue, Nova embarked on a new chapter of her life. Spayed, vaccinated, and treated for fleas, she emerged from her trials as a resilient survivor, ready to embrace the love and security she so richly deserves.

Nova's gentle demeanor and affectionate nature endear her to all who cross her path. A testament to her intelligence and resourcefulness, she thrived in the wilds, caring for her kittens with a steadfast determination. Though she appreciates the company of other cats, Nova's heart truly blossoms in the presence of her human companions.

As Nova awaits the perfect forever family to call her own, her story serves as a beacon of hope and a reminder of the transformative power of love and second chances. With her boundless capacity for affection and unwavering spirit, Nova is poised to bring immeasurable joy to the lucky individuals who open their hearts and homes to her.

More about this rescue

Save Our Kitties Stockton is a non-profit organization, dedicated to improving and saving the lives of feral and stray cats. We focus on the TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release).

This organization helps find new homes for both kittens and cats so they can live their best, healthiest lives. In our feral cat colonies sometimes we find cats that are not feral. Abandon/Stray cats are not alert and don't have survival skills as feral cats do, so we try to find them a safer environment. This is when we make them available for adoption.
