My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ducky is a super goofy boy that was surrendered with his brother Goose. Their back story isn't all that clear, but we do know two things: these two are a bonded pair and would do best in a home together, and that home cannot have any cats. With that being said these two boys would make the perfect addition to the right home.
Ducky's absolute favorite thing to do is play ball out in the run with the girls here at BCHS. In fact, he loves it so much that sometimes he gets over excited and might get a little nippy but with correction and redirection he's easily calmed but for this reason we recommend "sturdy" children ages 10 and up. Ducky also likes going for walks but does need to work on his leash manners a bit.
Ducky and Goose both have what we call "kennel stress" meaning that in the kennel they act much differently than out, for this reason we recommend meeting them outside in the side runs to really understand their personalities. Ducky may be a little shy at first but warms up quickly. Once you start throwing a ball for him you will be best friends.
Ducky's ideal home would be with his brother Goose in a home that has lots of space to run around and a family to play with.
If you think Ducky would be a great addition to your household, please apply or call for more information.

Additional adoption info

We try to have a thorough process that ensures animals are placed in loving homes that are capable of caring for the animal. We have an application that requires references and we interview both the references and the applicants, before we place a pet.
