Available for Adoption - Becky Currently fostered in Milton, DE Becky is a beautiful dark mahogany red tri-color, one year old female Aussie. She has adorable freckles on her nose and feet. She is a medium size dog at 44 pounds and is up to date on all vaccinations, preventatives, and is heartworm/lyme negative. She was spayed on 10/11/2023.
She spent her early months with four children, although her foster home only has two canine sisters and an older cat. Becky is house trained but is still in her puppy stage and can chew up stuffed toys if not supervised. Becky is a puppy at heart with lots of energy and loves to play with her foster sisters. She is a snuggle bunny and loves to be up close to you on the couch or in bed.
Becky is a little shy when meeting new people especially men, but soon warms up to everyone. She loves to talk to you when she is excited or when greeting you when you come home. Currently, she is crated only when home alone for more than two hours. She has some separation anxiety which should improve when she is in a stable environment. She would do well with another dog to keep her company. Becky is a little hesitant to come when called, so a fenced backyard would be great. She is working on not pulling on her leash, so foster mom uses a front clip harness. If you let this little darling in your life, she will be your loving companion for years to come. She truly is a gem.
