My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Greta is approximately 5 years old and weighs 45 pounds.

Greta is a special girl thar needs a special home. She is not your typical, happy go lucky, fun loving English Bulldog. In fact, Greta can be a bit of a grump. She has rules and boundaries and likes to live her life that way she wants. She's not overly affectionate, but she is social. She likes to be around her people, but not be bothered much. She likes to get her head pet when she wants, but when she's done, she's done!! Some have described Greta as a cat LOL

Greta came to us after we saw a post of someone rehoming her for free, because she was aggressive with their 6 year old child. Greta was completely unvetted, not spayed and we thought we should step in to help her get healthy and find a proper home. Upon vetting, Greta turned up to be heartworm positive as well. So we got her spayed, she is finishing her heartworm treatment and we also discovered that Greta has quite severe arthritis. We have her on pain management and she's doing very well on that.

Greta will require a home with no other pets or children. She needs a quiet home with not a lot of people coming and going. She will also need a fenced yard, as she is not a fan of leashes.

Greta needs someone who will understand her need for boundaries and respect them. She's a nice girl who enjoys soft beds, chewing bones and snoring loudly. Greta will be a great friend for someone if they give her the time and space she needs
