Meet Colonel!
What are we looking for in a home for this little fellow.
Someone with a out going dog already in the home.
Someone who understands shy and timid dogs and working slowly with them to gain there trust.
A family understanding he takes a while to come around to new people.

******He has a buddy at the shelter and they do so well together and has really helped colonel become a dog and come out of his shell. We would love for them to go as a pair since they do so well together and colonel needs to be in a home with a dog to help him along. So take a look at Bruno!***********************************************************

Onyx (Colonel) is a very nervous guy, who needs someone who will take the time to work with him and show him the loving he deserves. He is very Anxious & Scared, and will need extra care to help socialize him and help him to feel safe. He is very nervous with new people. We highly recommend a 2nd appointment to help him adjust.

Charlie's Angels Animal Rescue Charlie’s Angels Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to saving the lives of adoptable dogs and cats who would otherwise die simply because their time is up at shelters in western NC. We accomplish this by placing them into loving, forever homes via a system of transport to reputable rescues and no-kill shelters throughout the United States, as well as local adoptions. Each one is cared for, loved and given everything it needs (food, exercise, socialization, basic training, vetting, vaccinations, heart worm testing and spay/neuter) to become the best possible companion animal it can be! We provide this through our foster families and our Safe Haven until such time they are chosen to go to other rescues, where adoption awaits them, or they are adopted by us into local homes.
