This larger-than-life guy has a personality as big as his namesake, with a penchant for bones and a love for car rides. At first, our gentle giant can be a tad wary of strangers - perhaps he's just waiting for his own fairy tale adventure to begin. As he's shown in the shelter, daily confidence-building exercises have led him to gradually warm up, allowing his true affable nature to shine through.
Chew-tastic Shrek's previous stint with furniture re-design was perhaps a sign of his artsy spirit! But a consistent schedule, training, and plenty of stimulating toys will keep this creative genius focused on less destructive projects. His journey to full confidence may require a touch of patience and understanding, but with the right family, his trust will blossom. All adoptions are handled on a case-by-case basis, but most adoptions are first-come, first-served, and holds cannot be placed in advance for someone to meet with an animal. All animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
