Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Visit our website or stop by to view the animals currently available for adoption. Complete an adoption application online or in person.
- Approve Application
- Our adoption counselors review your application to ensure a great match for both you and the animal.
- Meet the Pet
- If your application is approved, your household will meet the pet. If you have other dogs at home, a dog-to-dog meet is required.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- Once it’s a match, you’ll complete the adoption paperwork.
- Take the Pet Home
- Congratulations! You’ll receive information on your pet’s medical history and helpful resources to support a smooth transition.
