Leo is a drop dead gorgeous Great Pyrenees and Golden Retriever. He was adopted as a puppy and surrendered to a kill shelter for a bite related to resource guarding. We have seen very few incidents of resource guarding here and have worked with him so that he realizes he does not need to guard his food or important things.
Leo is a happy, active, friendly boy. He is super smart and LOVES participating in our informal agility course and solving puzzles. He has a calm, almost regal presence about him which makes other dogs respect him and leave him alone. He seems to prefer calmer female dogs to.play with and has lived with cats. He LOVES playing in the water, taking hikes, chasing a frisbee or rolling on his belly for rubs from his favorite people. He is great riding in a car.
The ideal home for Leo would be with a family with alot of dog experience, with oldernor no kids who enjoy water sports, hiking, going on adventures and running/walking around the neighborhood.
Leo is neutered, microchipped and UTD on his vaccines.
