My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: Plymouth, MN

My name is Hank. My foster hoomans say I'm a good boy with a big head, how rude! I love attention! I like to be where my hoomans are so that I can get all the belly rubs. I learned that if I put my paw up, the hoomans will scratch my belly and paws. I just love the belly scratches, they makes me smile. I can sit, shake, and stay (ok, I'm working on that last one a little). I try to be good in my kennel and bark for a minute so someone will notice me. When they don't, I just take a nap. I love to sleep on the hooman beds but I'm ok in my bed at night as well. I wait like a good boy in the morning to go outside too! I like to go for walks and don't even bark at other hoomans or dogs when they walk by. I love the snacks on the ground during the walks (my foster hoomans call them helicopters and leaves?). I only pull a little on the leash when I'm excited to smell a new smell. I don't think I have met a cat yet. I'm curious about the little furry thing they keep in the cage (the hoomans call it a Hamster). I'm excited to be around other dogs but sometimes they is scared of me (that makes me sad). I like to protect my toys and sometimes bark if the other dogs touch them. I don't bite the hoomans, I likes to lick them. Especially when we snuggles with my bankets and they gives me the treats. I like the bigger hooman kids because they is not scared of me. The little ones are ok. My dream home would have the older hooman kids, and another dog my size that I can plays with; or a home by myself so I can get all the attention. I like other people but need to make sure they are safe for my family first.

Please come adopt me so that we can go on all the walks. I am so excited to find my forever home so that I can cuddle with my hoomans and lay with my bankets.

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
