Hi, I’m Monkey! Yes, the name is adorable—and it suits me perfectly. I’m a big guy with an even bigger personality to match. I’m a strictly indoor cat, and I plan to keep it that way. The outside world? No thank you. I much prefer lounging in a cozy spot, chatting with you about my day, or batting at my favourite scratch post when I’m feeling playful. I’m super friendly, affectionate, and quite vocal—you’ll always know how I’m feeling (and when it’s snack time). I love being petted—like, a lot—but on my terms. If I’m not in the mood, I’ll simply walk away. No hard feelings, okay? Let’s get one thing straight: I’m not a lap cat. I won’t be curling up in your arms or settling onto your legs, and please don’t pick me up—I squirm like it’s an Olympic sport. I’m also not a fan of having my back end touched. Trust me on that one. I’ve never met kids, dogs, or other cats before, so slow and thoughtful introductions would be best if you have other family members at home. If you’re looking for a quirky, lovable guy who knows exactly what he likes (and isn’t shy about telling you), I just might be your perfect match. I am a special paws adoption, which means I do have medical needs that need tending to. I will need extra help grooming myself because of my body condition and I do require to be on a special diet for life. I`m also a Hidden Gem, so my adoption fee is waived ($30 admin fee still applies)!
