My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi friends! My name is Chubba, and this is my sister Runt. We are almost identical gray tabby-and-white littermates, except I'm a big squishy guy and my sister is small and petite - hence our names! We are both very friendly, social and inquisitive 6-month-old kittens that have been raised with kids, other cats and big dogs. Nothing much phases us! We love sleeping together in our favorite fluffy bed, playing with our toys, and hanging out with our foster humans. We enjoy being snuggled and loved on, supervising daily household chores and sleeping at the end of the bed at night. We also get very excited when we hear a food wrapper or container open! We would love to be adopted together, but would also do fine separately as long as we each have a snuggle buddy of our own. We will be the most purrrfect companions for a lucky someone!

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
