Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nellie is a sweet and active 3 yo terrier who LOVES her toys! This playful girl loves to play chase and spend time with her foster Mom, and especially loves to play with the other dogs and cats in the home. Nellie takes some time to warm up to new people, but will eventually become extremely bonded to her new family.

Because Nellie is so shy with new people, introductions will be done at the foster home and applicants should be prepared to spend some time with her during the introduction to allow her to warm up and show her true sweet personality.

Nellie is UTD on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. If interested in meeting Nellie, please complete an application at jellysplace.org.

Adoption process requires an interview with adopter, ad adoption agreement, plus spay/neuter deposit if animal is not spayed/neutered.

Jelly's Place is a rescue and No-kill shelter founded in 2017 to be an advocate for the lives and dignity of urban animals who are homeless, abandoned, impounded, sick, or injured, by providing responsible care, placement, and community education. Its founder, Julie Bainbridge, has been rescuing and fostering animals since childhood. She has rescued, fostered, and /or raised all kinds of animals, including baby squirrels, raccoons, pigeons, chickens, geese, ducks, skunks (yes- skunks), wild and tropical birds, pigmey goats, mice, snakes, rabbits, dogs, and cats. Some animals are cared for by volunteers in their homes.
Jelly's Place is named in memory of her beloved English Bulldog who crossed over the Rainbow bridge in 2016. Jelly's Place is a 501 (3)(c) nonprofit organization and donations are tax deductible.
Jelly's Place depends on donations, grants, and volunteers to foster and care for animals.
