My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cosmo and his brother Comet were found dumped in a parking lot at their foster mommas work when they were about 3 months old. Cosmo is a loveable little dude. He loves to sit up high on your shoulders, and cuddles, head scratches and kisses on the forehead and always has his purr engine on! He and his brother play fight often and then settle down for a cuddle and nap. He likes to be picked up and gently given head scratches he's cautious with new people when they first pet him if they go in too aggressive with the pets he'll run away, other than that he's a big suck and wants to be mostly near his humans and brother Comet.
He is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on his vaccines and will come with a voucher for his neuter at 6 months, done in Woodstock at our vet. To facilitate the neuter surgery, applications from locations within half an hour distance from Woodstock will be considered.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING!
An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet. An application does not guarantee an adoption. We match the kitty with the best family.
You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200.
It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along.
We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations.
Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes faster by respecting these guidelines!
