My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Comet and his brother Cosmo were found dumped in a parking lot at their foster mommas work when they were about 3 months old. Comet is a free spirit who lives by his own rules! He loves to jump out of his tunnels and loves playing with all the dangle toys with his brother. He loves his meals and isn’t afraid to tell you he’s hungry. He enjoys under his chin scratches, and pets down to his tail. He's not fond of being held much longer then a quick cuddle and a kiss but he does enjoy laying on your chest to sleep. If there is anything bread related left out on the counter or table, he will find his way to it. He loves all the humans in the house mostly adults and a teen and makes his rounds to get pets and head scratches from each one as soon as he is done eating. He loves a good box to explore with his brother and loves his tunnels, and enjoys the cat tree and cat scratcher made of cardboard.
He is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on his vaccines and will come with a voucher for his neuter at 6 months, done in Woodstock at our vet. To facilitate the neuter surgery, applications from locations within half an hour distance from Woodstock will be considered.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING!
An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet. An application does not guarantee an adoption. We match the kitty with the best family.
You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200.
It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along.
We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations.
Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes faster by respecting these guidelines!
