We try to make this process as easy as possible. We ask you to stay in touch with photo updates. It makes what we do so incredibly rewarding.
Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Please return the completed application and let your references and vet know we will call.
- Interview
- We will do a phone interview to help decide if our dog is a fit for you and that you are a good match for our dog.
- Take the Pet Home
- Now it is time to collect the adoption fee and arrange transport if you live outside of Texas. We take care of all the details!!
Go meet their pets
We are in Pipe Creek, Texas on an acreage. We will be using a transporter to deliver the dogs to New Jersey once they are adopted. We can let you speak to our Kennel Manager, Troy, who works with the dogs everyday. We also will provide the most current pictures and videos to help in your decision. Only the very best dogs will be transported.

C.C.P.A.L. seeks to reduce the enormous problem of pet overpopulation in Bandera County We promote low-cost spay/neuter programs; advise on basic health care & proper shelter for pets & offer excellent dog obedience classes several times each year. Since 2002, CCPAL has rescued nearly 5,000 animals. We are in constant need of foster homes for these pets until we find them homes. Our pets are in kennels on an acreage in Texas. We can use a transporter to get them outside of Texas if we find a great home.
