My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I was given up to a county shelter with my friend Alfie. I'm a great little fellow and who knows why I was discarded. No matter, I'm ready for a new life and a new home. My mouth was a mess, I lost 17 teeth during my dental but I'm all healed up and ready to find a home. I am a very active fellow, but I love to curl up next to my person and be quiet and calm too.

Adopters complete an application, references are given including a vet reference. Home visits are performed along with trial adoptions of up to a week. Adopters are required to sign a contract that is sent through the mail.

More about this rescue

Act2Pups is a 501(c)3 non-profit group. Act2Pups gives senior dogs that have been given up a second chance. Seniors are so easy to take care of. We provide a home environment for all of our senior pups. We are a small group that dedicates all of our rescue efforts to helping senior pets. We give them a thorough veterinary check up to include complete blood work and a dental at the minimum. We spay and neuter always. All of our senior pups are heart worm tested and are started on heart worm preventative.
