My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Karl, an aaaaahDORable, grey, striped Tabby with Bengal spots on his belly and the face of a Maine Coon. It's hard to imagine this li'l fella still being out there - on the mean streets, by himself, but we're sure glad he was brought to us so we could get him safe and fully vetted.

Karl has been an absolute delight from the moment he arrived... even purring and playing with a mousie in his crate the day he went to the clinic for his neuter surgery and combo-test. In fact, he was playing all the way home from the clinic, as if it were just an average day in the life of this cutie.

His foster mom, Mary, says he's taken to napping in the crook of her neck and he's already an expert cuddler.

But that's when he tired and sleepy, otherwise, his other setting is non-stop playing! Foster mom says, "He is like the energizer bunny. I cannot stop him from playing. Even in the crate! He flies through the air like a flying squirrel and completely exhausts the other, two adult cats (in his foster home), until they're so exhausted, they're begging to leave the room!"

You'll find his complete rescue story chronicled in Photo Album #31 on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" - including updates and videos on ALL our adoptable cats and kittens. *Be sure to check out his Adoption Video and fall in L-O-V-E !!!

Karl's adoption will include his:
* Neuter surgery,
* De-worming,
* FVRCP vaccinations,
* Rabies vaccination (if old enough),
* Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative),
* Flea and mite treatment (with Revolution),
* and Micro chipping!

~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~

* Please only contact us if you'll be making Karl a permanent member of your household and will be keeping him safe indoors.

** We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Kittens rely on each other for emotional support and continued social and behavioral development. For example: another kitten or cat will teach them when they're playing too rough or biting too hard. Plus, cats and kittens get very lonely when you're not at home! Having a playmate will keep them happier, healthier and out of trouble. **We offer a discount when adopting a pair!

Interested in becoming a much-needed foster? Please send us a message with your best contact info, the type of home environment you can provide and, most-importantly, the City in which you live. Thanks!
