My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rocco was dumped in our neighborhood before the holidays and we took him into our home to foster him. He's been a welcome addition to our home and is a big fan of kisses and (whether you want it or not) sitting on you while you're on the couch :)

Rocco is a bully breed, so he can be stubborn at times. If he wants pets or scratches, he can pester you. He already knew how to sit, shake, and he's 100% crate trained. He is a bit of a fence guardian, but he'll listen to you if you correct him. The key with bully breeds is persistence and being firm. He might do better with someone who's had experience with the breed or someone who doesn't mind putting their foot down.

He does take some time to get used to new surroundings , but he really is a big baby. He's a good guard dog too. He's got a 6th sense about Amazon/USPS delivery persons. He's not much for playing longer than a few minutes, but he does love his rope toy and a nice chew bone. Rocco gets along with our cocker spaniel, but we he might be best to be an only dog if there is another bully-type / alpha dog in the house.

Feel free to reach out to us with any questions you might have about Rocco!!
