My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Names: Pistachio (boy) and Peanut (girl)
Age: Under a Year
Identifying Marks: Pistachio has an adorable little mustache!

Hello there, feline enthusiasts! We're Pistachio and Peanut, a delightful brother-sister duo ready to bring double the love and joy into your home. With our striking black and white coats and affectionate personalities, we're sure to capture your heart from the moment we meet.

Here's a little bit about us:

🐾 Bonded Pair: We're more than just siblings; we're best friends who do everything together. From playing and exploring to cuddling up for nap time, we're inseparable! We've been through thick and thin together, and we're looking for a forever home where we can continue our journey side by side.

🐾 Indoor Living: Although we started our lives as outdoor kitties, we quickly discovered the wonders of indoor living and never looked back. We've come to appreciate the comfort and security of being indoors, where we can snuggle up in warm blankets and watch the world go by from the safety of our windowsill. We're fully litter trained and have impeccable indoor manners.

🐾 Affectionate: We have hearts as big as can be! We love nothing more than showering our favorite humans with cuddles, purrs, and head boops. Whether it's curling up in your lap for a cozy nap or rubbing against your legs for attention, we're always eager to show our affection and receive it in return.

🐾 Needs: We're looking for a loving indoor home where we can thrive together as a bonded pair. We're great with kids and would make wonderful companions for a family looking to add a little feline love to their lives. With our soft fur and gentle personalities, we're sure to bring warmth and happiness to any home lucky enough to welcome us.

Are you ready to open your heart and home to a pair of sweet siblings like us? If so, we would love nothing more than to become cherished members of your family. Let's create a lifetime of memories together filled with love, laughter, and endless purrs.

If you're interested in meeting us, please reach out to the shelter at (360)376-6777 or on the website at www.orcaspets.org to arrange a visit. We can't wait to meet you and start our new adventure together!

With love and anticipation, Pistachio and Peanut 🐾

Additional adoption info

Our shelter is located on Orcas Island in Washington State. Our adoption policy is to always try to find a suitable home for a pet here on island before looking else where. If a suitable owner is not found, we then widen our search to those in San Juan County and outlying areas. If you are looking to adopt from outside of the U.S., please be aware that this would be highly unlikely and only under special circumstances that we would choose to do so.
