I'm Leia, and my journey here is a testament to resilience and sacrifice. My life took a heartbreaking turn when my owner, facing the devastating loss of their job and home, had no choice but to surrender me to Big Dog Ranch Rescue. It was a heart-wrenching decision, and I arrived here with a heavy heart, yearning for a new beginning. But don't let my past overshadow my sweet and loving nature. I'm a playful soul, ready to embrace life's joys once again. I come from a home, which means I already have some manners in my repertoire. I know how to sit patiently and wait for my food, even when excitement bubbles within me. Leash walking is a breeze for me, and I'd make an excellent jogging companion, though I must admit I can be a bit strong. I'm eager to learn and grow, so I'll thrive with someone willing to guide me in mastering my manners. On rainy days, I transform into a cuddle enthusiast, ready to while away the hours in your embrace. I can be dog selective so a proper introduction is a must and I'm not a fan of cats, so a cat-free home would be ideal. Do you have the heart and home to offer me?

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit our website adoptions page to complete an adoption application. at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. Once you have completed the application, we will contact you to let you know you have been approved and then you will be able to set up an appointment to come and meet dogs you are interested in. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
