Lacey an approx. 2-year-old, 12-lb. playful Yorkshire Terrier mix. She is nervous in new situations, but each day she gets more comfortable with her surroundings. Once comfortable, she is a great companion who loves to cuddle and give kisses. She is laid back and likes to chill on the couch. She wants to be in the same room as her person. She sleeps under her foster mom’s desk during the today and prefers to sleep in her bed next to her person’s bed. She is friendly and playful with other dogs. She is smart, easy-going and ignores the house cat. She enjoys sunning outside, loves to explore around the backyard with her housemates. She is house trained as long as she is taken out often. She was trained to use puppy pads in her previous home. She walks well on a leash, rides well in the car and likes watching the world go by. Lacey likes to greet you at the door with a dance and a yip or two. She loves to run around and hang out in the backyard so we are hoping for a fenced outside space for her. Her former owner says she is great with kids. Lacey needs a person or family who is home with her most of the time. Lacey requires frequent brushing and regular grooming to keep her coat mat-free.
