My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sweet Ginger, a 5-year-old calico on a mission to find her purr-fect match! After her previous hoomans vanished (something about a "move"?), this cuddle connoisseur is ready to charm the furry socks off any pawsitive households with chill doggos or fellow feline friends. She's gentle, as sweet as sugar, and will cuddle on demand. What more could you ask for? Ready to make this lovely lady yours furrever? Let the feline fairytale begin at www.ruffpatches.org/adoptions!

More about this rescue

Ruff Patches empowers Los Angeles area pet owners to keep their pets and help stem the flow of animals entering the City and County shelter systems and nonprofit rescue organizations.

Many issues could be remedied if pet owners had access to relevant information before obtaining their pet, access to additional education about pet care and to resources such as low cost spay/neuter, behaviorists, etc. Ruff Patches will connect pet owners considering relinquishment of their pet to the resources they need to address their individual situation, with the goal of keeping the pet in its original home or, if necessary, finding a new appropriate placement.
