My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pearl 6825
Pearl and her friend Grant comfortably share a kennel at the Humane Society for Animals in Rogers, AR. Their human, who had dearly loved them for many years, unexpectedly passed away and they were left without a home. They were compassionately accepted into the HS family where they are given kindness and empathetic compassion. Those individuals who have an awareness of the depth of connection between canines and their humans understand that the 4-legged beings experience the loss of their family with great sadness. As the bark park adventure began, the look that Pearl shared with the photographer spoke of many feelings but above all the most silently articulated emotions were of resilience and hope. A few moments later, Pearl shared proud smiles of here-and-now joy. She, with remarkable fortitude, did her best to capture a hot dog treat that had escaped to the bottom of the doggy pool. Pearl is probably not a water dog, but she did put her head under water and even blew some bubbles in the pursuit. 7-year-old Pearl showed her sense of humor as she gleefully looked up with great pride as she successfully managed to untie her bark park bandana. Pearl and her best friend Grant are waiting hopefully to join caring families where they can continue their lives filled with forever love and affection.
