Carly is a little Chiweenie who was found as a stray and taken to a very overcrowded, high-kill shelter. She is an anxious, skittish little girl, but is very sweet despite her fear. She's not at all yappy or nippy. She wants to be friends with humans, but is too afraid to completely trust. When she works up the courage to be held and petted, she will give lots of doggy kisses. She gets along really well with other small to medium dogs. She has good potty habits, provided she's able to go outside on a fairly regular basis. She will also use a potty pad if needed. Although shy, she does want to be near her people. She needs an adopter who will be patient with her and give her the time she needs to trust and feel safe. She is not a good leash walker, so will need a home with a fenced yard. Carly is a sweet, quirky little girl.
