When we first met Reign, he was trying to get into somebody’s house in inclement weather. This poor boy was so affectionate , yet so neglected. He needed lots of TLC, and that’s just what he got!
While he has been hanging out in a very loving foster home, we have been able to do lots of diagnostics and specialty care. We found out that he has what you call burn out HCM, from untreated thyroid issues. Luckily, the cardiologists has now said that he is no longer in burnout. He is still on a daily medication to help ease the work of his heart since he is older, and there was such a long period of time where his heart was working in overdrive to survive. He is also still on daily thyroid meds, but everything has been regulated, and he is “healthy“. The medications he is on to stabilize. his health are not very expensive. And he easily takes his meds in his food. He also was able to get a dental cleaning while he was with us. He is new man!
Don't tell him that he is 10 years old! He loves a good wand toy session! He’s just handsome and is hanging at “29 years old“ tee hee hee.
Reign is a very special guy! We are so privileged to be part of his story! And we are so excited for him to get to meet you! Are you ready to be the next chapter? Apply to get the process started!

More about this rescue
The Euclid Beach Cat Project is a 501(c)(3), non profit rescue group. We take in, socialize, vet and adopt out cats and kittens, as well as trap-neuter-return (TNR) and manage feral colonies. There are so many homeless, abandoned and vulnerable cats and kittens needing homes, medical care and to be spayed/neutered. We try to help as many cats find a home as we can. If they are feral, we practice TNR and make sure either a caregiver or someone with this rescue continues to provide for them.
