Zucc is a friendly senior looking for a relaxing place to retire! Zucc loves to be pet on his head and neck and will walk right up to the edge of his cage to greet just about anyone! He enjoys his scratching post and does great with all people. He is a purrbox! In fact, he purrs loudly even before you pet him, and purrs even louder when you scratch him under the chin! Zucc has also lived with a dog in the past. Stop by the shelter and meet Zucc today!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.

We strive to set a standard of excellence and leadership in animal care, humane education, and progressive animal welfare programs. Our staff and volunteers are passionate about caring for the animals in our shelter and placing them in good homes.
