Introducing Courage, a shy and timid one-year-old cat who is searching for a patient and experienced adopter to help her come out of her shell. Despite her name, Courage is in need of a loving and understanding home where she can build her confidence at her own pace.
Courage finds solace in the company of other cats and enjoys their presence. She may benefit from having feline companionship in her new home, as it can provide comfort and a sense of security. One of Courage's favorite pastimes is watching birds and cat TV on YouTube. She is very observant and mellow.
If you have experience with shy cats and are willing to provide the time and attention necessary for Courage's journey, you will witness her gradual transformation into a more confident and contented companion. We ask an adoption fee of $175 Which includes a general health exam, spay /neuter surgery, and microchip ID implant, Felv/FIV testing, age-appropriate vaccinations including rabies.

Meowsquad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population of New York City by using Trap Neuter Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats and kittens that can be resocialized. We also aim to relocate those who cannot be returned into safe, working environments.
