My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Morticia, the sweet but shy female cat with a heart of gold. This observant and calm girl finds solace in perching up high, quietly watching the world unfold around her. Morticia's gentle nature shines through her shyness, making her a precious addition to any home. She thrives in the company of other cats, or in a solo setting where she can receive plenty of attention to help her feel at ease. If you're ready to provide the patience and love she deserves, Morticia is poised to blossom into a loving companion, bringing a sense of tranquility and warmth to your home.

Morticia is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and healthy (fiv and felv negative)

More about this rescue

Meowsquad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population of New York City by using Trap Neuter Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats and kittens that can be resocialized. We also aim to relocate those who cannot be returned into safe, working environments.
