My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hope, a sweet male cat who has been patiently waiting for his forever home for over a year and a half. Despite his extended stay, Hope remains a mellow, laidback cat and tends to be shy with new people. He finds comfort in observing his cat buddies from the many cat trees at the shelter, showcasing his thoughtful and observant nature. What Hope truly deserves is a loving home of his own where he can finally feel secure enough to come out of his shell. If you're ready to provide the patient and caring environment that Hope needs, please apply to adopt today!

Hope is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and healthy (fiv and felv negative)

If you are interested in adopting Hope please fill out adoption form on our website and our staff will review and reach out shortly (link to adoption form is below) https://www.meowsquadnyc.org/cat-adoption-form

More about this rescue

Meowsquad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population of New York City by using Trap Neuter Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats and kittens that can be resocialized. We also aim to relocate those who cannot be returned into safe, working environments.
