Meet Bug. The first cat rescued from the West End colony, Bug came to us semi-feral, horribly sick, and severely underweight. At 6 months old, she had weighed just around 2lbs. After some medication and TLC, her respiratory illness cleared up, she started to put on weight, and she's become a healthy, sweet little girl.
Bug is quite a playful cat and will run zoomies most of the day and night. She can be fearful at first, but will easily fall for a good wand toy and smoothie treat. Once she is settled, she is a very curious girl and loves to play with anything and everything. She loves to carry her mouse toys and hide them for future play.
Bug can be very affectionate at times, especially in the mornings, and will often spend her afternoon naps snuggled into your lap. However, it's important to know her sensitive areas and when to give her space. Bug would be best for someone who can respect her boundaries and let her be her crazy kitten self.
Bug would prefer to find a home with her best friend Oscar. Because Bug is FeLV+, she must be in a home with FeLV+ cats or cats updated and regularly vaccinated for the virus.
Bug is just over a year old, spayed, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped, and tested FIV negative, FeLV positive (confirmed via PCR).

Adopting a cat is a big responsibility and commitment, but it's also one of the biggest acts you can ever do for an animal in need.
Each and every cat in our care has their own story and background. They are all fully vetted, fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative (unless otherwise specified). Because of this, our adoption fee is $95 for one cat over 1-year-old or $155 for 2 and $110 for one cat under 1-year-old or $195 for 2.
Our approval process includes a vet reference (personal reference if you've not had a vet in the last 5 years), virtual home tour, and landlord approval should you be a renter.
The completion of an application does not guarantee approval for adoption.
