Mandela is one extremely smart fella with over as 20 word vocabulary. He says things like
Hello’, “Where are you? Here I am in my bedroom” Good morning, or good morning darlin’
Come here-You alright? -You OK?
Grant! No barking (when he hears dogs barking) …not always
Mandi, Stop it! (Mandela usually says that after he incessantly does the smoke detector sound)
Oooooooh RAWR RAWR RAWR.. peek-a-boo pew pew,and so much more
Mandela also has a variety of other mimics like: catcall whistle ,DADA ,DADA ,DADAAA!…and then expects us to say CHARGE, whippoorwill steam train whistle. He also Meows like a cat, Barks in a few different dog sizes. He also likes to make the Knocking sound at the door, come in. he also whistles for the dogs to come, and so much more.
We are really fond of Mandela, so we are seeking an experienced lady parrot handler, one who can appreciate his personality. And diet. He has a very special diet, and requires someone to serve him his well-deserved fresh chop, and steamed veggies. We prefer a homeowner who doesn’t travel, and loves to cook. He really likes to be around his female handler as much as possible.
