My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Whiskey is a 1-year-old, 52-pound mix of energy and playfulness! He loves to run around the backyard, play tug of war, and fetch until he can't anymore. Whiskey is very outgoing and adventurous, and he enjoys the company of dogs and humans alike. He is also great with kids and has been kennel and house trained. Whiskey is very sweet and will surely melt your heart, but unfortunately, he is not cat friendly.

Whiskey will come with age-appropriate vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $200.

More about this rescue

Lucky 13 Rescue is a federal 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the rescue and aid of homeless and neglected dogs in the Kansas City metro and surrounding rural areas. We do not limit our efforts to a specific breed, but rather strive to assist any dog that is facing neglect, homelessness, abuse or death. Our ultimate goal is to rehabilitate each canine in our care through placement in loving fosters homes until they can be carefully matched with adoptive families.
