This Marco and Marco wants you all to know that he's the most perfect gentleman that ever "gentlemanned".
Previously Marco lived a pretty wild life on a horse farm. He was one of many cats who spent their time dodging horse hooves and wearing cowboy hats (probably not but maybe) until one day he was captured to be neutered.
TNR was the original plan for us.
Buying a first class ticket to being an indoor cat was Marco's plan as he was ready to trade in his cowboy hat for a comfy couch.
Of course, Marco immediately lassoed our hearts and we kept him for adoption.
Since then Marco spends his days following us around and helping with various tasks, his favorite being litter box scooping. He makes sure that we get every last nugget by aggressively rubbing against our hands causing us to constantly drop the nuggets back into the box. It makes the process take twice the time but he calls it "efficient" and insists it's good for moral. We have yet to fact check this.
Marco also gets along with literally everyone. He's very extroverted and eager to make all the friends yet he also respects the boundaries that some of the less cheerful cats establish with others.
He needs a home where he can have a feline sidekick to cuddle with and play with. Maybe he can even teach them the ins and outs of supervising litter box scooping.
If you don't currently have an age appropriate cat to be his friend then we are happy to match him up with someone here.
Marco is about 2 years old, neutered, UTD on core vaccinations, FeLV vaccinated, microchipped, FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed, and on monthly flea preventative.
His adoption fee is $75 and his application can be found here: www.jcccats.org/adoption-application
