Lucy is a beautiful, fluffy girl with a personality waiting to blossum. She came to us very pregnant after her owner had to go into assisted living. Lucy was not socialized so her foster has been working on helping her trust humans.
Lucy is very laid back. She likes to have a good spot to burrow under blankets for a nap. She loves food time and will come to you when she is ready to get some butt scratches. She loves to play with her foster brother Clayton and would love to have a cat friend in her new home. She is not very fond of dogs.
Lucy is a spirit cat because she will need time and understanding as she becomes comfortable in her forever home. Once you gain her trust, Lucy will be a wonderful companion.
All Prairie Pet Coalition cats are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given any additional veterinary care they need.

Your application will be reviewed by our adoption rep. She will give you a call or send you an email within 48 hours of submission.

Approve Application
Our adoption rep might have a few extra questions for you, but she will let you know if your application is approved within 48 hours.

Meet the Pet
Pets can be met at adoption events or we can set up a meet and greet.
4.
Sign Adoption Contract
Adoption contract is completed in order to transfer custody of the pet to you.

Pay Fee
Adoption donations are as follows: $75 for adult cats, $90 for kittens under 6 months, $100.00 for adult dogs, $150.00 for puppies

Take the Pet Home
We will follow up with you in a couple weeks to see how you are doing! If you have ANY questions or concerns, please call or email us.
Additional adoption info
We have three main requirements for our adoptors:
- If you rent your home, we will need to confirm that pets are allowed by your landlord or property manager.
-Your other pets must be spayed or neutered. There are exceptions to this rule, for example, age of pet or health issues. If your pet isn't spayed or neutered, we would love to help you find a place to get them fixed.
-Your pet must be up to date on their rabies shot, FVRCP (for cats) and DAPPV (for dogs). If your pet needs these vaccinations and you need low-cost options, email or call us & we will point you in the right direction.
If you apply for one of our pets and still need to get your vaccines up to date or need to get your pet spayed or neutered, we will mark it as pending until the vaccinations and spay/neutered are completed.
