Shadow is a 4 y/o, 2.5lb, neutered Netherland dwarf mix. He is one of the sweetest rabbits we currently have in the rescue; his foster mom says he sits on her lap for up to 30min watching TV as she pets him and he is respectful and non-destructive while free roaming.
Shadow was one of the refugees Penny&Wild took in from the West Coast of Florida after Hurricane Ian hit at the end of September 2022. At first he was extremely shy; named Shadow both because his eye liner is on point and because he was afraid of his own shadow! After 1 year in rescue Shadow is not shy at all and now enjoys spending quality time with his foster mom and keeps himself entertained remodeling his cardboard hidey houses when alone. He also likes to chew apple wood sticks, willow balls and other bunny safe chew toys.

Once you apply to adopt a pet, you'll speak with the adoption team and order all of the supplies for your pet. Once your application is approved you'll meet your new pet and if you're set on adopting, you'll pay the adoption fee and take it home! We do also offer on-site bonding for an extra fee.
