My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Eloise is a gorgeous sable double maned Lionhead. She originally came to us after she was found as a stray. Eloise can be a little shy with new people at first but she's learning to trust and slowly coming around more and more with people. She LOVES treats and comes out as soon as she hears the treat jar. As soon as she hears it, she pops her head right out of the hidey house and comes out to find her treats. She's still very hesitant when it comes to petting but she's making more and more progress each month. She's going to make a great pet for somebody that spends a little bit of time getting to know her!

Eloise does well around dogs and cats and is great with other rabbits. She does have a mild head drift that is indicative of E. Cuniculi but she does not need medication and is not affected by it. She's a happy go lucky bunny and runs and plays just like anybody else. Eloise is a very mellow rabbit, she does spend a large part of the day napping, loafing, and running through hidey houses. She's also perfect with her litterbox habits.

More about this rescue

SOS FL Animal Rescue is a non-profit rescue for rabbits and guinea pigs. We are animal lovers who are experienced rabbit and guinea pig owners. We both fostered small animals with other rescues for years before meeting each other and deciding to start our own rescue so that more rabbits and guinea pigs could be saved. We take in all rabbits and guinea pigs, including unwanted animals, seniors, and medical cases.
