Greetings from May Belle, a cuddly and active pup ready to bring a whole lot of fun into your life! If you're on the hunt for a loving companion, look no further – that's me!
I'm a 4-year-old, 50lb staffy mix with young-dog energy, and boy, do I know how to have a good time! My list of favorites includes showering all people with love, greeting them enthusiastically, and snuggling up on the bed for some quality cuddle time. Oh, and let's not forget my love for fetching, walks, car rides, and, of course, crunchin' on snacks. I kinda love everything if you couldn’t tell.
I'm a medium to high-energy pup, and I'm on the lookout for an active family. I like children, but I might get a bit jumpy and mouthy when I'm super excited so older kids (or no kids at all) is probably wise.
My ideal family is one that's committed to giving me plenty of exercise and playtime while also diving into some training sessions. Luckily, I'm treat-motivated and highly teachable. I've already mastered "sit" and "lay down," and I'm ready for more!
I walk nicely on a leash and can be left alone for periods of time without any separation anxiety. My foster says I settle well after getting some activity in! Did I mention I'm potty trained too? Yep, I'll let you know when it's time to go outside.
I'm okay with other dogs, but truth be told, I could be the queen of the castle and be perfectly content. Seeking an affectionate dog that will also want to join you on your adventures? Look no further!

3. If it sounds like a potential match for you and the dog of interest, we will promptly set up a meet and greet at the foster home
Please note we are a foster-based rescue meaning our dogs are in individual foster homes throughout sac and the bay. For this reason we may only be able to schedule meets for one dog at a time (or litter). The average timeline between app submission and a meet and greet is 3-5 days. Please only submit an application for a specific dog if you are ready to adopt that animal within a week's time.
