My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ABOUT RONITAS!

Meet Ronitas, our handsome little meatball! This cute boy came to HAP as a stray, so we don't know much about his past. Because this, he had a hard time adjusting when he first came to us. After some TLC and patience, he has settled in and shown us his goofy personality!

Ronitas is a confident guy, who knows what he likes and doesn't like. He isn't afraid to let his friends know when he's annoyed by them, he's a pro at communication! When he isn't inspecting his surroundings and making sure everything is up to his standards, he likes to snooze the day away in his many beds! He's a really smart guy, as you can probably tell by his wise little face, so he loves puzzles and interactive toys!

*Ronitas is FIV+, which means his immune system is weaker than a normal cat. This means if he gets sick, it will take longer for him to get better. With regular vet care, he should live a long and happy life!
Ronitas also has KCS, which is dry eyes. He gets daily eye ointment to help keep him comfortable, which he takes like a champ!

*Ronitas can get a little overstimulated at times, so we don't recommend young children. He has lived with cats previously, but he can be a bit of a bully. We aren't sure how he'd do with dogs.

**If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is designed to help you and your family find the perfect match in a pet. When the right match is made, we strive to conduct our adoptions thoughtfully, transparently, and with the utmost respect. You can view and submit an adoption questionnaire online ahead of your visit by going to our website: humaneanimalpartners.org. A questionnaire is not required to come visit us, but we will have you fill one out if interested in meeting with our animals. We strive to make the best match possible for you and for the animals. Most of our pets can go home same-day and come vaccinated, spay/neutered, and microchipped.
