Jack Skellington arrived at MHRR on 10/28/23 from Companion Animal Alliance.
Jack is a little shy but also very curious, and a bit of a busy-body. He likes to climb and explore and play with toys (especially shredding cardboard). He can be a little too excited at mealtimes and will nip to get his food faster. He also will nip if he is held for a little bit. He is NOT aggressive when reaching into his habitat anymore, as long as its not dinner time. :-D He will approach people if you are quiet and still, or have food. He prefers to be petted on his head and not too sure about cheeks yet. He has been around calm dogs and done OK, not happy about loud noises or sudden movements so best with teens or older. He uses the litterbox well now that he's been neutered! He has been housed in a 2x6' playpen and will jump out of the short ones (as well as over small pet gates!). He love to run and binky, and will really put on a show if he has traction such as a carpet, mat or rug. He hasn't found much he doesn't like when it comes to veggies! He has had romaine, bell pepper, carrot, broccoli and parsley so far.
