My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PUPPY MARIGOLD ~~ Female, Shepherd Mix, Rust, 32 pounds, DOB: 12/16/22

Meet our sweet puppy, Marigold, with a heart as big as Georgia and a personality to match! This little one had a very rough start to her life, and had been possibly hit by a car when she was brought to us. Someone found her wandering near Shady Grove Lane and Canton Streets. She was covered in fleas and had a terrible wound on her side, which was later determined to be road rash. Marigold was not one to give up and responded quickly to medical attention, regular meals and lots of love from our wonderful staff. She still needs to gain some weight, but is definitely ready to meet her person, her family and someone to love.

Marigold's fur may never fully come in on the side of her previous injury, but what she lacks in hair, she more than makes up for with her exuberance and personality. This little girl is still a puppy and has the energy to prove it! She is very smart, has a social, sweet and loving personality, and absolutely loves to play fetch with anyone who will throw toys and balls to her. Marigold seems to love other dogs but has not really had many interactions with them yet. She has a lot to learn and would love you to teach her all about living in a home with other friendly pets and people. Marigold will benefit from some basic training and commands. And, she would absolutely love a fenced backyard to play in.

Marigold will be spayed and microchipped soon, and both are included in her $130 adoption fee. She has started her vaccines and vet services and has a negative heartworm and fecal test. Any additional vaccines/vet services required after adoption are not included in her adoption fee, and are the financial responsibility of her new owners.

Are you looking for a great young dog to keep you company while running errands, taking long walks or hikes and maybe even a running partner? Come meet Marigold and see if she is your perfect match. Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic, 12604 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta, GA. 770.475.8272. Weekdays 630AM to 7PM. Saturday and Sunday 8AM to 4PM. We are closed on all major holidays.
