My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Snowflake and her brother, Snowball, are gorgeous, 13 year old siblings.  Originally, their owner passed away and her husband was too emotionally connected to keep them. They were then adopted and by no fault of their own they were returned after 3 years. She is up to date on vaccines and Just had a dental/ bloodwork/ and xrays. Her foster mom says the following; Bonnie Spayed female 13 years old. Inside only. Bonnie is sweet and likes to chill. Adaptable to new surroundings and friendly to new people. Always up for head pets and purrs. Bonnie will be a great companion and will sit beside you and lay in your lap for hours. She may follow you from room to room to be near but is also okay on her own. She doesn’t like to be picked up but tolerates it when necessary. She’s independent and won’t be the kind of cat that smooths all over you all of the time. Not big on head kisses. She likes to play with rainbow or feather wand toy especially under table/chair legs, red dot , zip ties, fish kicker toy, catnip, cardboard scratcher box and enjoys warming pads. Restricted to a mostly wet food diet for a few more months. In good health although overweight at 16 lbs and a little osteoarthritis in leg/hip. A daily GlycoFlex joint supplement treat should be helpful. All vaccinations, exams and dental cleanings are current. Very good bathroom habits. Currently using clay clumping litter. First week she may be under bed when resting, please allow a quiet space. May not want to eat much initially. Easy to get in carrier willingly/treat motivated. Because she’s deaf she has a loud meow when she’d like more pets or more food. She loves blankets and being covered on occasion. Enjoys head, chin, shoulders pets. Loves watching birds and squirrels or movies/tv for cats. May tolerate other chill cats after slow introduction. No alpha cats. Recommend controlled feeding. Currently eating purina pro plan savory select OM Turkey and gravy 5oz. canned food. 1/2 can Am and 1/2 can pm. Friskies Turkey Giblets Pate or Poultry Dinner 5 oz. canned midday 1/2 can. Little bit of Blue Blissful Belly dry if needed. She freaks over temptation treats use sparingly! She likes Lickables too but these are occasionally not daily. Deaf disability requires caution approaching from behind she startles easy. Watch footing she won’t hear you to get out of the way. Get attention by hand waving.

We are a foster-based rescue with loving and knowledgeable cat ladies spread throughout the county answering the call to help local kitties and bring them into our homes until they are adopted into their purrfect family. We are firmly committed to spaying or neutering all pets, and we assist in TNR projects for community cats.
