Almost Home Foster Kennels, MN Lic. 132328 is a 501c3, not-for-profit, foster-based, rescue organization. AHFK is located in SE Minnesota, in the Austin/Albert Lea area. AHFK is primarily a Beagle and small dog rescue.
Our focus is to pull from High-Kill Shelters and to save those dogs that are at risk of euthanasia.
All AHFK adoptions require an approved, completed application, a Veterinarian and Personal Reference Check, a smoke-free environment, and a home visit.
Our Adoption fee is $425.00 for a single dog adoption.
All our dogs are completely vetted, 4DX tested, current on vaccinations, *spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
No puppy will leave Almost Home Foster/Rescue prior to being fully vaccinated. The last vaccination is received between 16-18 weeks of age.
We are currently accepting adoption applications for Hansel.
Hansel is a Blue-Tick Beagle/Terrier mix. He will be a small dog, weighing approximately 20# at adult.
Hansel's DOB is 02.17.2023.
Hansel is a puppy; therefore we are looking for a home with a securely fenced yard and a family with one Pet Parent that is a stay-at-home parent, or one which works from home; a family that can help Hansel acclimate to his new surroundings and environment with compassion, love, and patience. Please allow 6-8 weeks for Hansel to acclimate to the drastic changes in his life.
