Almost Home Foster Kennels, MN Lic. 132328 is a 501c3, not-for-profit, foster-based, rescue organization. AHFK is located in SE Minnesota in the Austin/Albert Lea area. AHFK is primarily a Beagle and small dog rescue.
Our focus is to pull from High-Kill Shelters and to save those dogs that are at risk of euthanasia.
All AHFK adoptions require an approved, completed application, a Veterinarian and Personal Reference Check, a smoke-free environment, and a home visit.
Our Adoption fee is $425.00 for a single dog adoption.
All our dogs are completely vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
We are currently accepting applications for Penelope. Penelope is an owner/surrender. She is fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. Penelope is 8 years of age with a DOB of 07.12.2015.
Penelope is a Red and White Beagle/Terrier mix. Penelope does well with children, adults, and gets along with other dogs. She is completely house trained and does not require a kennel.
We are looking for a home with at least one family member who is a stay-at-home parent, or one which works from home; a family that can help Penelope acclimate to her new surroundings and environment with compassion, love, and patience. Please allow 6-8 weeks for Penelope to acclimate to the changes in her life.
