Hi, my name is Keagen Fields! I am a 9 pound and 6 months old chihuahua and maltipoo mix with maybe a little terrier. I won't get much bigger so will make the perfect lap dog if you love snuggles! I do really well with children of all ages, other dogs, and even the pig. I am a little shy at first so will need a little time to adjust but once I open up, I love to be loved and cuddled. I need some work on leash to make walks fun and exciting, and I do pretty good using the potty pad but will need more work with that too.
Interested in becoming a forever home for Keagen Fields? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application.

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Keagen Fields.
We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Keagen Fields the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us.
Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.
All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
