My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please welcome MYLIE to ARK Charities! Mylie loves everyone, as you can see by the photos. She is a petite 50lb, 1yr old, soft and sweet long coat German Shepherd. She is a very easygoing girl and is great with kids, other respectful dogs, meets new people easily and has been exposed and lived with livestock.
This is what her foster Mom has to say about her.
“Mylie is a super sweet and loving girl. She is very active and loves to go for runs with me being led beside my scooter. She enjoys our walks around the ranch checking out the horses and other animals. She has never shown one ounce of aggression or bad behavior towards dogs, farm animals or new people. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She just wants to be loved. She enjoys being loose in my office while I’m working in there and usually sits or lays beside my chair and periodically bumps my arm for scratches and pets. When it’s time for her to go into her kennel you just have to snap your fingers and say come on Mylie and she goes right in. She takes treats very nicely from your hand. She loves jerky treats and peanut butter flavored dog biscuits. She has a great appetite and eats well. She is a big water drinker. She loves being brushed and groomed but not crazy about bath-time but you can do it. She is a fabulous dog and I love her dearly and have so enjoyed being her foster. When I saw her at the shelter there was something special about her and my instinct was right. I hope she finds the best family ever.”
Mylie will be coming north in just a few weeks and is available for adoption. Please go to our website:
www.ark-charities.org
Only completed applications can be processed. Follow up interviews and meet and greets are scheduled after an application and reviewed.
All pets in the home must be spayed/neutered. Veterinary records will be checked and must show both a current and historic record of both wellness and preventicare over the lifetime of a pet. Preference is given for German Shepherd and large breed experience as well as fenced yard.
