Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Looks like: Large Mixed Breed
Female, 5 years old, 68 pounds
Flora was part of a litter of puppies born to POMDR dog Nellie in 2018. She was an adorable puppy and has grown into a stunning dog, with her creamy coloring and mile-long legs. Flora is deeply devoted and attentive to the small circle of people she knows and trusts. She can be quite shy when meeting new people and requires some patience while she takes her time to warm up. Flora would do best in a home without young children and with no other animals.
Flora has spent most of her life in the quiet countryside, so she can get nervous when exposed to new sights and sounds. She will need an adopter who understands how to keep her safe. She is a strong dog, so she also needs an adopter who is strong enough to handle her on a leash if she gets spooked. POMDR will provide an appropriate adopter with the tools, guidance, and a consultation with a private trainer to get Flora off to a good start in her new home.
Flora was adopted, but returned to POMDR because her adopter's health declined and she was no longer able to provide Flora with the exercise and continued training she requires.
