My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Phil — A Gentle Soul with a Thoughtful Gaze

Phil is a handsome, soft-spoken guy with a classic tabby-and-white coat and the kind of expressive eyes that seem to take everything in before he decides to trust it. He has a sturdy, cozy build and a calm presence—often spotted perched on a comfy bed or sitting quietly by a window, observing the world with curiosity.

Personality-wise, Phil is a total sweetheart who loves people. He’s not particularly interested in toys—he’d much rather have you. Chin rubs are his favorite, and once he’s settled in, he’s happy to be your Netflix buddy, lounging nearby and soaking up quiet companionship.

In his previous foster homes, Phil is a chill, independent boy who may took a little time to come out of his shell. He appreciates having his own space and a few good hidey holes, but with patience, he blossomed into a friendly, affectionate presence. He may never be a full-time lap cat, but he shows his love by choosing to be near you.

He does well with older children and would likely be fine with younger kids who are gentle and respectful. Phil would be perfectly content as the only pet, where he can be spoiled and enjoy a calm routine, but he could also coexist with respectful cats—and possibly dogs—with slow introductions and space of his own.

One important thing to know about Phil: he has had most of his teeth removed due to prior dental issues, but it doesn’t slow him down at all. He eats normally and lives a happy, comfortable life without any special accommodations.

Found wandering the streets, Phil is now ready for the safety and comfort of a forever home. If you’re looking for a low-key, affectionate companion who values connection over chaos, Phil might be the perfect match for you. Come meet him at the Second Cup Cat Cafe. 💙
