Sweet Senior sees forever home!

All dogs are located in foster homes in southeast Arizona, between Benson and Willcox just south of Interstate 10. Please note that it is a 2 1/2-hour drive from Tempe or an hour east of Tucson.

Allegheny is a senior boy. The shelter estimates him at 9 years of age. He is a dream in his foster home.

Our heart just breaks seeing the seniors in the shelter, especially such sweet ones like Alleghany.

Alleghany was living in a home and his human ended up in the nursing home and subsequently passed away. He was living with small dogs as well as cats and got along with everyone.

Alleghany is so lovable and gets along with everybody!

Alleghany weighs approximately 70 pounds.

More about this rescue

We specialize in Australian Shepherds and Australian Cattle Dogs (Queensland Heelers), although we do have other dogs available. We do some farm animal rescue depending on our available space.
