My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

*If you are interested in being considered for this dog, please be sure to complete an application directly on our website, www.hoofwoofmeow.org - not through a 3rd party service.**

Luke is a 45 lb. social butterfly, who melts hearts wherever he goes. He is a smart pup and fast learner while working with a professional dog trainer. Luke walks great on a leash, potty-trained, crate-trained and dog-friendly. He would do well as the only resident dog or with other pups in the household. Luke is a natural-born people and dog lover. He jumps in excitement (something he's working on), so children should be 9+ years of age, if any, in the household. He sleeps through the night, usually on his back and snoring in his crate. Luke would benefit from an active family who has a fenced-in-yard and committed to continue his training and taking him on dog-friendly adventures. He wants to be in on the action during the day, so minimal crate time during the day would be a better fit. Whether it's playtime in his foster’s fenced in backyard or cuddles on the couch, Luke is always ready to spread happiness and joy to everyone he meets. Get ready to fall head over heels for this adorable pup! Estimated birth date 5/29/2023.

Luke’s adoption fee is $400 - which includes core vaccinations (age appropriate), microchip & spay/neuter at one of our contracted vets (completed)   *Hoof Woof & Meow Animal Rescue presents the information in these bios based on our foster observations and any information presented to us regarding prior living conditions, breed specifications. Our rescue is foster based, therefore you will need to make an appointment to visit with any of our animals that are available for adoption.
Most of our adoptable animals come from high kill shelters. Occasionally we are given specific breed information on the animals, but more often, we have to make an educated guess as to breed or mixture based on size, color and physical characteristics.
